APS no-cloud guidance
Keep the method. Keep the review record under your control.
Static guidance for professionals who want to use the public APS method without creating an APS workspace.
Boundary
This page does not store a workspace.
It contains static guidance and public links. It accepts no review content, evidence, files, or meeting notes.
It does not claim employer approval. Your organisation decides whether this method, storage location, and review process are permitted.
Before you start
Set the local boundary first.
- Name one person who owns the review record.
- Choose a controlled storage location that your organisation already permits.
- Set access, retention, and deletion rules before collecting evidence.
- Keep personal, confidential, and regulated data out unless your own policy permits it.
Local review record
Keep five records together.
- Evidence register with source, owner, date, scope, and evidence label.
- Approved Story with a visible revision number.
- Presentation choice record, including reasons for manual choices.
- Meeting decisions, action owners, due dates, and dependencies.
- Outcome record and next-cycle disposition.
Boundary checks
Recheck the limits before each cycle.
- The public Playbook does not save your review content.
- Your local record remains your responsibility.
- No approval, compliance status, or employer endorsement is created by following this guidance.
- Move to the APS workspace only after reviewing its account and privacy terms.
